I often am at odds with both my partner & best friend about how to decorate our shared living spaces. Each of us want very different things. This photo represents pretty much the feeling that I'm going for, if not the specific imagery itself.

The Chapel of St Ignatius
I sincerely doubt Colleen or Brant will ever be okay with our house giving off this vibe.  Nonetheless, here it is.

omfg brandy, that is fucking creepy. you want our house to feel like the chapel of the scary-ass mushroom trip. wtf.

(love you)

lol at colleen. =)

i actually REALLY love an old-school catholic vibe, you know. your picture looks like a little bit of a modern take on the old-school catholic vibe. which i like too. (you'd love justin's mom in this way. this is exactly what her house always looks like. i think it's called mission-style.)

there are a few monasteries i've been to that had that look. prince of peace abby in oceanside, ca. and st. andrew's abby in valyermo, ca. where justin spent a lot of time at one point. we recently found out that they are moving/remodeling their chapel, and i was so sad. it was really beautiful.
